Hiya Kakati’s 7-Month Psychology Internship Experience at MYND

The internship at MYND would be one of the most enriching and defining experience. Even though I started for a course of 20 days but ended up extending it and those 7 months have taught me way more than any textbook or classroom could define the subject to me. I would truly accept it as an invaluable experience and exposure.

I was also fortunate to visit a special school and a rehabilitation centre which added much to my insights and experience. throughout this journey, I developed my clinical observation, client interaction, communication, teamwork, ethical practice, and reflective skills, while growing more confident in my abilities as a psychology student.

I am deeply grateful to Dr. Mythili Hazarika and the entire MYND team for giving me the chance and space with their guidance, support and encouragement which has strengthened my interest and this will remain a significant milestone in my professional journey.
